The playoff field has been narrowed down to eight in each division, and things only get tougher from here on out. Michigan's remaining high school basketball teams took the court Wednesday for regional championship action, and while many of the state's top squads moved on, there were several notable upsets, including Orchard Lake St. Mary's over North Farmington, Unity Christian over Grand Rapids Christian, Ferndale over Warren Michigan Collegiate, Pewamo-Westphalia over Grandville Calvin Christian, Marine City Cardinal Mooney over Genesee Christian and Frankfort over Lake Leelanau St.
